I'm pretty sure time of day is irrelevant. From what I understand, the bug appears in some place after a reboot, and remains there until someone finds it or there's another reboot. If you search every location you will find it.

I'd suggest just hitting a few rooms (say the 3 in the Temple of Listening Monks) every reboot. A lot less effort, and eventually you'll strike lucky with 6 of them.

Weird... anyone can help? I drilled the holes, but it only lets me attach one of the three chains. When I attempt to attach more of them, it just says:

You decide not to attach two iron chains, because it is too damaged and that would ruin your creation.

I imagine it might be a 'partial' failure from the hole-making part (got a tm while trying). Should I discard the wheel?

I'm pretty sure that this isn't currently available.

Also there is apparently no bottom point to how much a family can hate you, so if you've killed them a fair few times, its may not be all that feasible to get them to like you again.

Does anyone know if it's possible to bribe/donate to a family to get them to like you as you can with the BP families? I'd rather do that if it can be done as I'd really rather not get a contract put on me in Genua by killing everyone in the other families.

I just about managed it with a 132 bonus in coopering and a bronze helm.

Hmmm did they make this one harder. I'm having a lot of trouble with my current character with a 121 bonus in coopering. Does anyone know what the new bonus needed is, if they changed it? I'd rather not spend more xp on a skill I'll probably never use again if I don't have to.

I just did this quest. You need over 200 bonus in perception to pass the skillcheck in moving the bed. Seems a lot of bonus for a level 2 quest!
