I just did this quest. You need over 200 bonus in perception to pass the skillcheck in moving the bed. Seems a lot of bonus for a level 2 quest!

yeah, but its a useful skill, and one that is needed to other quests too.

Just completed this quest with a 208 bonus and tm'd when I passed the skillcheck. Once down, you need to "push" the pile to get access deeper, then "open" the gate several times to get into the final corridor. Follow that around, hold on tight, and jump down hole.
