How do you do the polite guest/photo healer/stout burglar quests now? Are they still available? I did manage to find remnants of the burglar quest after someone else did it, but I have no idea how to start it with the levers etc. How is this done?
P.S. I TEXTdidTEXT manage to find an onate jar full of embalming fluid and a pickled human brain in the very northwards room of the pyramid by searching the jars. Not sure what it does atm, but I do know you get poisoned if you drink the embalming fluid. ;D

There's no longer a bag of sand, if you're thinking of stout burgular, you have to do the Indeh quest to get your replacing item now...

Are you sure?
Have you tried 'syntax switch' in all the rooms of the pyramid?

Didn't you get the sand bag by pulling the red lever at the wrong time and nearly killing yourself by falling into a pit? Or has it all changed now?
Is the Indeh quest to get access to the secret room ?

Hieroglyph Expert is the one that gives access to the secret room.

The old Necropolis quests are gone, not to return. Whereas you used to replace a statue with the bag of sand, the object of the quests is to now be able to -retrieve- the bag of sand, but it still requires (high) co.ma.sleight-of-hand. Doing the switch to get the sandbag requires you to use the statue of Cephut (gained through helping Indeh) with the bag of sand. Getting the statue from Indeh requires searching the sand in the secret room each time it respawns the room, until you get the kind of statue\figurine he is after (like the Loz Lipton plectrum quest). Getting into the secret room requires you have sufficient ot.la.dj.sp and ot.cu.djelian to read the heiroglyphics and chant the correct phrase.

Do you still get that game show with the choice of prize if you do all the Necropolis quests, tho?

No. Because a) this is a new Necropolis, not the old one. Things have been changed and improved. b) the old Necropolis quest rewards would be improper in the MUD as it is now, where real quest rewards are few and far between, and in places where they are still in0game, aren't as horrendously unbalancing as the Necropolis game show prizes were.

210+? Are you sure? That seems awfully high for this type of quest. What do you get, thieves daggers or something?

No, its just a very high-level quest.
