Outside the watch house its one east but you can only go in at night..... during the day it is locked ( not sure if you can lock pick it as a thief). at night there is a splatter outside and say "thom Crooze" to him and he'll tell you whats wrong with you..... one is your hair is wrong, another your nails and also your clothing. get all of these done and then you might get in (ive never got past the clothes part cos it gets very expensive). once inside you can do the cocktail shaker quest!

A note, before any younger characters waste money doing all of this quest. You also have to have a certain degree of fame. I believe this is related to your overall quest points, but am not sure.

Unless it has changed, at a certain time of day, and I think it is opening time in the evening (17:00 - 19:00Hrs?) the bar is open but Splatter hasn't started work and you can just walk in.
I haven't tested this myself but a few players have confirmed it.

It worked for me when my character was young, but that won't get you the quest. You've gotta do all the expensive dressing up :/

Yes but you can do C ocktail Shaker without being famous enough for Dressed Up To The Nines. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

Speaking of, I had started cocktail shaker when very young and failed it and never went back until recently. I can't get Keebler to give me a new application and I can't get Thom to let me try again without one. Have I lost this quest forever?

160qp wasn't enough, but I did get in at 186qp. You might be able to get in with a little less. You have to be dressed up, have your hair and nails done, and not be holding any weapons.

so my name is on the list and i've done the nails and hair. And I've gotten a dress from Madame Dawning, but the splatter doesn't seem to accept my clothes: The splatter looks over at you. The splatter says: You're not wearin' enuff of der right clothes! You're not comin' in. inventory at the time: Wearing : a lapis lazuli light cotton dress and a black backpack. what am I missing? shoes? makeup? a boa? thanks

Actually, I think it may be the boa. It sparks some memory to do with this quest anyway. Hope you get it

I'm wearing a vintage verge watch, a fine sabre scabbard, a sabre scabbard, a Philosophers' Society pin, a stone medallion, a white rose, two club badges, a holy amulet, a pure azure delicate silk dress (from madame 's), a pair of ornate metal gauntlets, a pair of black pumps, a black backpack, a yellow feather boa and a white plumed hat.
The splatter looks over at you. The splatter says: You're not wearin' enuff of der right clothes! You're not comin' in.
is this about the condition of the clothes?

When I did it, I only wore the dress, the boa and I think my pack. I put everything else in my pack. Maybe you should try it with just that?
