Aha, an update. You have to say "Presto" in front of Notserp. I FINALLY got the quest by doing this , so yes, it is still active *bounces happily*

Finally took the time to hunt down these Dopplegangers and try out the quest, as well as add to the responses they have. Something I did find out though, I only talked to 21 of them in your list. I have purposely ignored the Dopplegangers until I had perfected Morporkian so I am positive I did not accidently speak to some of them. Perhaps you need to speak to only select ones or only a certain amount. I may have spoken to 22, as I talked to Nmad'Ho but it was directly before a crash and I did not save.

Here is my list which is nicely alphabetized by NPC name to make it a bit simpler. The blank responses are the ones I did not speak with.

I believe Fao may be one of the Dopplegangers, he did respond to Oaf afterall. However I haven't seen any cre's named Oaf before and there is a giant list on the website. If he does count that does make a definite 22 NPCs I spoke to.

Oh yeah also forgot, Tneduts never says anything when you say student to him. In fact I rarely get him to say much at all. I doubt he can be one of the dopplegangers.

Yes, Oaf was a creator at one time.

I haven't seen a creator named Student in my many years on the Disc. I don't think Tneduts is related to the dopples.

Tneduts pub crawls I think. I once did a follow on him and he took me to Nowhere from AM. I don't know if that is his intended use. - Funny what boredum 'll make y do!
