Just to clarify - will this save over reboots / logouts? Or do you need to get all 22 (ish) in one go?

Yep, it carries over. At least, I had them all for ages, then finally got Notserp, said Presto, and got the quest.

I was wondering if anyone knew where the Dopplegangers Gruper, nkh, Notserp, Eur and Ilik like to hang out? These are the last few ones i need for this quest. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need Ilik for the quest, but if you do want to find him, I'm pretty sure the general shop on Pigsty Hill(near Shambling Gate) is where he usually sells the things he steals from people. He's also scryable. Most of the other Doppels wander randomly around AM. I've never noticed any particular pattern to them. |

I've found every dopple on the list and still haven't gotten the quest. I've even found another, Ronnie Soak (Kaos) responds, can't remember what with. But does anyone have any idea what's going wrong? I've even taken the time to find about 25 of them in one sitting, this is so frustrating!

To get Nhj to appear, attack suoiruc and Nhj will leap out of the diaper and attack you with spells. Killed me back when I was a newbie . Turned me into a pile of ash. |

Trying to use the "find" ritual to get the first few dopplegangers has proven fruitless. It's possible there's a scry check added, but it's also possible that they have a "no scry" property on them and can't ever be scried. They were loaded though (ran into one and tested on it).

Is there a time limit in which to find all the doppels? As Ive been trying this for years and when I randomly bump into these guys i say it and nothing as I think i have bumped into every single one of them over the entire 5 years Ive been playing..
