"Place 250 hearts on Sek's low altar"
Do you have to put all 250 on in one shot, or can it accumulate over time. In case no one else has noticed, those things weigh just a little bit more than a feather.

1 1/9 pounds to be precise... so it makes together 277 7/9 lb or 126 kg

Like the gufnork and gapp quests, I'm assuming you can accumulate them over time. i think its actually impossible to carry 250 hearts at once

Another question, does it count it properly if you place multiple hearts on the altar at once, without waiting in between for them to disappear?

as for the message of power, yes, check your 'score stats' after you see this.
I'm going to have to go with placing multiple hearts on the altar as not being counted correctly. I haven't kept an exact count on it, but I'm sure I've placed near to 400 hearts on it. I've visited the altar 1-2 times a day for a monthplacing them in groups of at least ten each time.
I had given up on this one. After finding this site, I think I can probably give it another go.

it counts each heart it put on there. it doesn't matter how many you place at once. I have done with 3 different characters and kept tally marks as i placed them. it hit 250 the same time i did

As far as I remember I only ever put one hart on at once but that may be my mind playing tricks as I recorded 254 hearts before I got the quest. Whilst I've got the sheet out; Hearts 254 & completed. Clothes 32 & Completed Eyes 1584 Stopped working after 1576 Fluffy things 55 & Completed Weapons rack 18 & Completed Now you have my soul bared!  |

Sadly not no. When I got around to thinking that perhaps I had to put them on the altar one by one.. I debated counting because I was getting paranoid about not having enough hearts.
I'd estimate 250 to a bit over. My last.. 8 hearts were single file. Sorry I cannot say for certain.
