how do you climb up to the rafters in the cabbage warehouse? I'm scared to wander very far in there, and I can't see a way up. I've tried "climb up" "climb crates" and "up." suggestions? got the plank, got the balancing skills (probably) just need to find a way up.

I *think* I don't have my map with me but from the room with just the west exit its north north east east south. It may be slightly different, my memory isn't perfect but if you go the north way its the first room you have go go south to, if you know what I mean. Once you climb up you head east and then at the second junction south to get to where you have to put the plank, iirc.

That's the right one, Kanz (good memory!).
I did the quest with a 190 bonus in balancing and a 4% burden (the plank). Be careful and take your time.

He wanders quite a bit, though I usually see him in the southern half of the city.

If you look at the quest solution from the cre's, it says he's to be found in the middle class zones. If you look at the room descriptions on the street southeast of the park, it says that its a middle class area. I found him on that street(Park La.).

If it's of any help, I just ran across the warehouse worker at The north end of Blueberry Lane [nw,s]. Good luck!

Do you need some climbing skills because when I climb up i get:
You begin to climb but wobble precariously and decide to stay put for the moment.
I'm in the right room.

Yeah, you do need some climbing, and that sounds like a failed skill check. Try getting some climbing boots and climbing gloves from one of the towns in the ramptops, slice maybe? Or you can just get them of hiker npcs.

On second thought, I think you only get that message if you don't have enough other gp to attempt the climb

No, that message is, 'You are too tired to climb up right now.' or similar.

Btw, you don't get the quest if you don't talk to the warehouse worker to get the plank. I went through the motions of the quest and didn't get it 'cause I found the plank laying about on the street.
