I've found I need a baking bonus closer to 130, and still sometimes get "inexpertly baked" results.
Also, a hint for the recipe: It's 4 flour, 4 goo.

Another hint: everyone gets a different recipe so the amounts that work for one person will be different for someone else.

Do they? Well, nevermind my hint then.

Yes, and -some- people get it on their first try. *grumbles about spending nearly 2 years on-and-off trying it now and again to get it right*

Green and fuzzy. Guaranteed to stay green and fuzzy or you can return it to your place of purchase for a full refund. It looks a bit thin though as if it's missing some bulk.
Whats the bulk?

Too much flour turns it into a paisley brick. Too much salt turns it into purple junk. (I only need to place one salt in the stove)

My bread looks like this
'Green and fuzzy. Guaranteed to stay green and fuzzy or you can return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.'
But when I give it to Argle. Nothing happens. Any ideas?

You only need to give it to Argyle when you've baked a loaf successfully - then it will look like a "loaf of brown bread" or similar.
It might be Green and Fuzzy because the ingredients weren't correct, or possibly because you don't have a high enough bonus in cr.cul.baking

Always pay attention to the "suggested recipes" that Argle tells you and use that as your starting point.
Always look at the finished product to identify what needs adding/removing - for example "it needs more bulk" means you need to add flour - so repeat exactly but add 1 extra bit of flour. Seeing lot's of salt crystals means too much salt. Green and fuzzy might indicate a total failure, or the green might relate to too much dried frog, unsure.
If you look at the object and it gives no hint at all about what's wrong, then your recipe is just completely off - so try and get it closer to the sort of recipe Argle suggested (he suggests a couple of alternatives and it's usually very close to if not exactly one of them).
A message about it being "baked inexpertly" means your bakery skills are too low.

I got one green fuzzy junk with slightly over 100 baking bonus, and after that three succesfull bakings with 133 bonus. One of them was a purple junk that 'seems to be lacking in salt', repeating with one more salt gave me bread. Tried to bake another bread with the same recipe after giving that one to argle, and while the recipe still produced good bread, Argle wouldn't accept it, but it's strongly hinted you can come back later to make some more money(probably by figuring out a new recipe.)
