Hi, I managed to get inside the shop in the center of the snail. I was told that I could buy dao guards (scabbards for daos) there. All I see is weapons, but no scabbards of any kind. Is there a secret back room in that shop where I can find the scabbards? -Kythe

Ok well i figured out that you type enter hole to get into the armour section of the shop, then go west to get to the scabbard section of the shop. I found the dao guard that I was looking for but One Tender Tulip said that she didn't know me well enough to sell it to me, does anyone know where I go from here? Thanks, Kythe

Try saying stuff. Maybe if you say the right thing she'll decide she knows you well enough to sell to you.

Going slightly off topic, is it possible to make a portal or passage to the shop once you get in there?

No. You can make portals up to 11 squares away I think, and after that, the Ome Outlaws are about so its hard to run through without death. If you want to try it, get lots of shields, take rits, and meybe a blue ring just in case.

They used to zap you to your starting location. I think they now zap you to a random location. (Possibly the nearest magic filled room or wizard?)
You can buy one at the magic shop in Hillshire and probably other places if they are still available.
Wizards can re-charge them with difficulty and at some risk and they usually want the purple powder (from a nugget) to do it.
