I cannot access it via normal DNS and through the front website. Been "down" since v.early yesterday.
Pain if you use the java telnet client on the site.... need to get another client then.

Logged in via IP address and the MUD mods are acknowledging that there is a DNS resolution issue.
The MUD itself is up and running fine

Note #10 posted at Sun Dec 17 Title: "No DNS"
Hello all!
The DNS resolving discworld.atuin.net isn't working, which is why we are dreadfully underpopulated. If you got here, though, you are one of the few using the actual IP address! Hooray!
Please pass on to any other mudders that you know that they can still connect to the Disc by connecting to 82.68.167.69 port 4242 (Note: 23 will work as well).
Thanks, Emer & The Fluffy Liaison Department

On a positive note this has made me try out a couple of MUD clients, bean and zMUD both seem OK but opposite ends of the complexity scale zMud being the more complex (still easy to use though).

So for those of us who were using java-- is there any way to connect with the IP without downloading a client or using telnet?
