Does anyone know where the items for this quest are now? Or even if it still exists? I can find neither the rod nor the key to open the cottage door to get the hilt.
Hmm

to get the key to the cottage go to the cottage south and west and wait for the jolly woman to come in. say help to her and she will babble on a bit about "Oh will you help me....." she will then give you a key which will open the door to the cottage. i believe the hilt was on the table. there is also a silver candlestick on the mantelpiece in the cottage. not sure if it is part of any quest. i think it was a metal rod to be found for this quest. in bad ass in the shepstons house there is a bedside cabinet. open the drawer to the bedside cabinet and a metal stick is in there Happy forging

you dont need a key to get into the shepstons house. theres two entrances. use the back entrance. (not sure which one that is though)

Yeah i found that now, i was being a dumb ass. The house is the one on the se corner of the square.
Now i just need the smithing skills to make the sword. When its made, you get to keep it right? And the faith part of it, what exactly does it do? A hear it has rituals attached to it.
Hmm

You now get a shiny creator card instead of a holy blade when you complete this quest.
You can purchase holy blades from the t-shop now. They are no longer quest items.
Holy blades do have some commands, but you need some fa.it.ro skills to use them.

This is a blade of fine balance and unbelievable sharpness. It has an ivory hilt which shines with a brilliant whiteness and some strange writing on the blade itself. The blade seems somehow incomplete, however, as if something important was missing.
What is missing? I put it on the altar, and it didn't give me the quest. But I got the solution talk. I can't pray at the altar, and i have no clue whats going on. Could someone please help me?

Actually, this quest was broken for a little while. Now it's not. Try again and it should work.

What smithing bonuses do you need for this?

Not more than 150 I would guess. I didn't have much of this when I did it for the first time.

I just forged it then with a 116 bonus....it wouldnt work with a 113 bonus so my guess is that 115 would be the required bonus.
