Hmm, I finally see an "insect" when searching near the abandoned shop in Blackglass:
An insect crawls up a nearby wall. It doesn't look particularly interesting but it's the little things that catch your eye sometimes.
But is is no bug and appeared only in the afternoon whereas the scuttling message occured in the morning and occur as well in the afternoon. But no bug can be found. Neither reporting or abusing works with this black insect:
It's a very small black insect, carefully making its way up a nearby wall.
Any idea if this is the said bug?

I doubt that you need to search for it, I with my puny perception bonus could see it clear as day just standing doing nothing.

Yes, where are the locations for the bug?
I've only found 3. Slice, BrassNeck and Blackglass.

Brass Neck - dead end north of inn
Black Glass - outside abandoned shop
Slice - The room outside of the Muckloe house.
Bad Ass -
Bandit Camp - room with net trap
Creel Springs - outside the smithy

Ok. I solved this one about 5 or 6 months ago. I found it hugely frustrating, until I realised that the bugs come back to the places you've seen them before! I saw mine in Bad Ass and Creel Springs - and after a few weeks, you can find them again in those exact same places! So it took me a few months to get around to completing the quest, because every week, I'd just go to where I saw them before and check until I found them again. There you go - I expect to see heaps of you around with 'Abuser of Bugs' as your quest title HTH HAND ;D |

Are you saying you just kept checking the same 2 over and over again and you got it? Or that we should make sure that we don't accidentally just abuse the same ones over and over again?  I had assumed that for one |

I can't find the one in Creel Springs, stood outside the smithy for a while and searched around. I had also searched it for months previously.

In the bandit camp, a bug hides in the same room with the net trap.

If you find a bug, could you also mention what time of day it was? Or specifically what time it was? I'm beginning to think this could be important...

Hmmm....I found the bug scuttling around outside the abandoned shop in Black Glass before...but now I've found it again at the carriage stop. Was during late morning.
