In Mad Stoat there is a locked cottage, if you "climb woodpile" then "roof" you will be standing on the roof of that cottage. Then, when you "look thatch" and "search thatch" you will find an ornate key. Could anyone tell me what this is for? Also, in the description it says that it is of the dwarven make.. please help  |

I believe it gets you into the house that has part of the Holy Blade of Soyin. I could be wrong though.

No, I think thats the key at the bottom of the well isn't it ? I don't think I found a use for the thatch key. It's all a bit hazy now mind you  |

There's no key down there afaik. There's a key behind the mirror in the mansion, in the thatch, and that one woman has one for house-sitting. The only thing I remember being down there is a pregnant frog.

I found the Ornate Key in the thatch of the cottage by the cottage for the soyin quest... And, by the way, i can't find the woman that you get the key for theSoyin quest... the questlist says it is in one of the SW cottages but i never see her  |

ahoy!
as to your 'how to'-type questions, there are answers in the quest list now. really. trust me.
and the ornate dwarven key is the only one so far that we don't know it's use

This seems related to the key in the thatch. Go 1 north and the house to the east has an old lady. She will ask if you want a "cuppa", just say yes. Drink it and return the cup to her. Listen to her strange story.
