Gnah, checked all bars twice now and found no shadowy figure at all... any more trick about that? I gave Johnny the shoeshine boy and some beggars money until their suggested spies hanging around the bars. Nothing though...

I found him several times in Liquor Alley in southeast Genua. Just wait for a reboot and then run around like mad, you don't have to wait for him to spawn either like the barkeepers, he will be there when you enter. Or just get someone to scry gentleman the moment the reboot has happened, I think that might work

Ok, found him a few times now, but I could need some help with my decoded message I think. Oddly, I am getting the same message every time the disc reboots which I thought was a lucky incident, but the shadowy gentleman does not accept, what I decoded. I got the following message: UMQJNQNJC UJC EFJYRDMFYJC LEQJC DBBDNHAQCRJC MOJZAJAZH MZH WDZVUFODVZH EWJZH FKKFAQCJHUZH MLFGUFUGI MGI NOGYWCLOYGI TNFGI CJJCUABFIWGI Three times the same message which most likely is: CONTACT O REGARDING THE DIFFICULTY Since I guessed the first word to be CONTACT and the fourth being THE. And the rest is fiddling with words. Especially the last word has to be DIFFICULTY since there are not many words with a XYYX combination. The gentleman told my all the time I was wrong. Was I? Is there any other possible solution? I mean any solution with halfways decent english words that is.

D'Oh! Thanks for the hint! I forgot those spies are a paranoid bunch who would never accept a somehow undecoded message...

My message was: GHAKSASKW KKW ELKMRXHLMKW YEAKW EDEHAWKW Which I with a lot of trial and error translated into: "Contact a reguarding the event" And of course give it to him in it's piglatinnish form. Btw this may be of some assistance, it was to me, just play around with it as it gives good results: www.blisstonia.com/software/Decrypto/

you sure it isn't: "cqtlbtblh xlh lvcythlh mxtlh ftyltfcqulh" That's a clue Btw use the program I gave the link to above, helps solve it in under 5 minutes.

As I see it, the message should be:
HETAY UCHESSDAY ISYAY INGINGSAY ABOUTYAY HETAY IGERSTAY
Also, try using both say and sayto.
