Invisible Cloak near Bandit Camp

I found an storekeeper near the bandit camp that sells invisible cloak for 50 Lancre crowns. (which is really expensive for me.) After purchasing the item, I can't seem to see it in my inventory. Does anyone have a clue to how i can use this item? Or did i just waste a lot of money for nothing?

You can 'Find' it, but it is in fact a waste of money, and not actually a quest, nor do you actually get an invisible cloak, you search the corner for it
