I have been counting and I always put on multiple hearts at once, sadly I am far away from the final count and don't go on many heart collecting sprees. I'll post my final number when I get the quest.

As far as I remember I only ever put one hart on at once but that may be my mind playing tricks as I recorded 254 hearts before I got the quest. Whilst I've got the sheet out; Hearts 254 & completed. Clothes 32 & Completed Eyes 1584 Stopped working after 1576 Fluffy things 55 & Completed Weapons rack 18 & Completed Now you have my soul bared! I'm doing this one now... Hearts = Sek I'll do these as well Clothes = Gapp Fluffy things = Gufnork But whet are these quests? Eyes?? - Blind Io? Weapons TIA m

Yes, eyes go in the depression on Blind Io's altar. Turns out that it is not a quest, but a way to tm perception.
The weapons rack is Arms Dealer quest in Djelibeybi.

Yes, eyes go in the depression on Blind Io's altar. Turns out that it is not a quest, but a way to tm perception. So I should see (haha) my perception stats go up So far I have put about 200 eyes in there and have not had a reaction Appart from "eyes glow and fly away' What should happen? m

Answering my own question...
"You feel you are gaining something from watching this mystical miracle"
I put eyes in depression for a long time then figgered that I might help things along and upped ot.per to 25 and after a while I got the message above and a level raise in other.perception
No idea how many eyes it took

I did it with 250 hearts exactly and put on as many as I could at a time. I found a shop that sells them in BP called the BP Emporium and bought them all there. They don't always have them but when they do its a easy boost to the heart count. It isn't too cheap but they sell alot of other quest gear there too.
If anyone is wondering where it is its in the Merchants Market in the Hong Fa district of BP(southwest section of BP).

I can confirm it's still 250 hearts. I kept a tally.
I did notice that sometimes hearts in my backpack would disappear... which was odd. anyone else had this?

They decay rather quickly. Same with other parts. This is why wizards for example use those pickling sticks to cure eyeballs for pragi, so they don't find they've got no eyes when they need them. The easiest way I found was either to get a supply of decent pickling sticks from a wiz, or just remain near the Temple and go back regularly to prevent loss of hearts.

okay just finished hearts tendered, and received this from the mud:
-- You put four human hearts on the low altar. Blood-red flames appear on two human hearts which are rapidly consumed leaving no trace. A harsh voice speaks in your head, saying: Your offerings are accepted. A Creator Collector Card appears in your inventory with a flash. The harsh voice continues: In return for your gifts, you may learn two rituals from the temple instructor. --
i went to the religious instructor in sek's temple to learn the rituals, and nothing happens. i asked a sek priest and was told that this must be a new addition because s/he wasn't familiar with it. any ideas? my faith skills are pretty low, so maybe i just need to advance more. thanks!
