Beats me, to be totally honest. I dont play the mud as much now as I used to.

A little warning

There were some problems on the old board with cres making traps to have a look on who uses the boards. Ex: Someone makes a post about a secret room and how to get there by using a special sentence. For ex. "type 'squeeze through hole' in <wherever>"

Never, ever trust something like this, unless it can be found in the room description or by looking around yourself. As in, if there is a hole mentioned in the room description, and if it says when you look at it that you might be able to squeeze through, then it's safe to try it out. If the hole (or whatever) isnt mentioned in the room description, dont.

The Necropolis along with the Netherworld are currently out of the game sadly.

Here's a question for the FAQ: How long should we expect to wait for admin to approve a new user account?
I went through registration a couple of weeks ago, and when I try to log in it gives me something like - awaiting admin approval.

Sorry, I didn't set it to require human approval and I didn't know it was set that way. Similarly, I don't have access to approvals.

Someone who has recently joined may be able to tell us how long they waited, if at all.

This is something I've been wondering about, as well. I registered as Poindexter a couple weeks ago, and now I can't use the name until it's approved.

I didn't have much a wait when I joined, iirc

Weird.. i didn't make any changes to the configuration. So either the message board got very clever and switched it on itself , or it's a new feature that was switched on automatically.
