You now get a shiny creator card instead of a holy blade when you complete this quest. You can purchase holy blades from the t-shop now. They are no longer quest items. Holy blades do have some commands, but you need some fa.it.ro skills to use them. I struggled through this quest back in the day when you got the blade rather then the card. It wasn't a week until they changed it, and my blade, which was bonded to me, was gone.
Gutting.

Do you have to be the one to actually forge the blade? Or can you get a friend(or alt) with sufficient skills to do it for you?

I can confirm that the bonus is still 115 or 116. The jolly woman is usually 2W of well in Mad Stoat. The locked cottage in Mad Stoat is 1E, 1N, 1E of there. Good luck!

If anyone is having trouble with the syntax, it's "forge blade from stick and handle". The syntax the mud gives you is "forge <string> from <object>" which is a bit ambiguous as typing "forge blade from stick" gives you a message that looks like a failed skill check.
