I worked out mine using a puzzle buster program
apart from caporegime and agateans which are discworld words.
qto iwgrhomyvo yd uwsiysm whrnsu qto wmwqowsd
the caporegime is dancing around the agateans
it works just by using the say command and the message in caps

It appears to have gotten a little bit harder... Messages no longer follow "The X is <verb>ing <prep> the Y", in fact, you're lucky to get a six-letter word at the least! Which, of course, has me really confused. But there's always hope there'll be a message one of these days with a nice two or three letter word to get us started. |

I had PVBLSBSLJ LBHPVGLJ PVSTHVRVXSLJ UTBLJ TFTYPZGTVBALJ. A couple of interesting letter patterns in there, but the last two letters being the same confused me - some kind of "stop" signal but not necessarily ST. Letter frequency tables looked fairly typical, but the standard cryptogram frequency rules don't exactly apply with five words from the Pratchett universe! Found a nice letter-swapping program at www.freelearning.com/crypto/ but the puzzle's still giving me grief. Can anybody recommend any programs that will search for letter patterns? |

I got a new one, but it won't change. And I just can't figure it out. I took out "Kz" from every word because I figured that was a sign for the end of a word/space. I may be wrong of course. Any help at all would be appreciated, I'm at my wits end.

If it is just a substitution cipher then it is very funny that it starts 'ABCDE FG' - Have you tried extracting the alphabet from it before using substitution ? I'm apparently having an even harder time than usual with this one.... I can't find the gentleman to start with! Are there particular pubs or areas he favors, or a specific time of day that's best to look?
