ok, I'm going to sum up this quest then. You need a good mush client for this, such as zmud and tubby's(refer tubby?) maps (downloadable from clicktotubby) as this helps finding the bars easier. Find in one of the bars a 'mysterious gentleman' and talk to him, say clacks, spy, message, etc and the quest starts; off to the clacks tower and up, pull the lever, cut and paste the message, use the well thumbed book to translate it, (check every latter of the alphabet, syntax lookup);realise the message is in pig latin and that the last two letters of every word can be ignored and if the word begins with a vowel the last three, and that for words beginning with a consonant the last letter of the word becomes the first letter; then , using the decoding links above (windecrypto) and the pig latin translator (see link above) once your random message has been translated refind the gentleman and sayto gentleman MESSAGE (in caps in pig latin) he says check, go back, pull the handle, check the message, and tell him the message (you don't need to check, it should be the same message) and get the quest. Phew.

Wow, they now include invisible apostrophes? Nasty buggers them.

yeah well imagine if they had had to include a code for punctuation too. If they had just put in the code for apostrophe it might have been too obvious.

ok, the unscrambled message I got was
FKYIU KXKLSEJKTYAIU CHUIU KTKRCNCILMIYUKDIU WHYJIU KINYVIU SYIU FCHYIU CJJIU CIYKLUUIU
which, removing pig latin endings comes out as (I think) YFK AKXKLSEJKTY HC DKTKRCNCILMIYUK JWHY VKINYV YS YFCH JCJ UCIYKL
and beyond that I get extremely stuck. I think the first 2 words are "the development" but nothing makes sense after that as far as my little brain can cope....
Can anyone help please?
