It's in the "unusual forge" on the southeastern end of Cable Street, near the intersection with Gleam Street.

Lard is in one of the back rooms at Gimlet's.

Maybe I'm using the wrong kind of brandy -- I've got greasy beer, sausage and garlic gravy mixed with two tablespoons of brandy. I'm using the stuff from the decanter in the Assassins' Guild; should I be using something different?

The problem was the brandy. Has to be the plum kind -- apparently Assassin brandy isn't good enough. Or something.

Well, the indigrients are no big problem, but to get the right amounts of each is. 1. lard only contains of an unslicable and splitable block. you need 20 times of stock for that then? and how to get half of that from flour which is measured in pinches/handfuls? 2. how can you get the right relations between a liquid (water and beer) and the lard/flour? there seems no way to put that into a relationship 3. brandy. you cannot get drops or very small amounts. you have to empty a small container until only drops are countable in it. but how much are a "dash"? 4. and you get problems when you have too much water, beer, whatever in the fatsup? not that i was able to get 1 drop of fatsup till now adding all indigrients

Well, 1. I'm still trying to puzzle that about the lard. Maybe we can melt it somewhere? 2. Flour and garlic can be added in pinches and are ridiculous easy to get right. 3. I'm thinking about the All Bar None quest when it was possible to very precisely measure. Perhaps that isn't possible here? 4. For getting the water/beer mix right, I filled the pan with water, then 'sip'ped it until it was only about half full, then added the beer. After a little wonking around, I ended up with watery beer mixed with 1 drop of water Another sip took care of it. Dry ingredients are easy, now for the lard and brandy. Sigh...

This is going to probably seem rather stupid, but I know the syntax to repair the wires, but is there any way to look at them in detail, so you can see their colours, or do you just guess 'repair red wire...', 'repair black wire...' etc.?

You need to try to switch on the oven/hob/thingie(can't remember name right now) and it will say (a # wire at the back seems loose). Something like that is what I recall, took me a bit to figure it out too.

im on the case, i've added the beer and water together then the garlic in pinches to get "watery garlicky beer", then added the flour pinch by pinch to get "beer and garlic gravy". Im leaving the brandy till last but if you keep any liquid in a bottle and use: "pour 1/3000 of brown bottle into pan" this adds a drop of the liquid to the mixture, so drop by drop it'll have to be. Now to the lard.....i tried to cut it with my dagger and it said: "You can't cut some lard. Try mincing instead." anyone know where you can mince stuff, nothing in gimlets or butcher's guild and you cant grind it, maybe i missed something in the places i checked.

For the lard, just put it in the saucepan, and then take it out. That worked perfectly for me and I got the quest
