There's a hunter in a bar in Sto Lat who talks about dragons to the south. I saw somebody with one and they said you need grooming skills, a brush, mushrooms and to go to the mountains a long way to the south.
Is it the mountains south of AM? Or the ones hundreds of miles away to the south? Anybody know how to find the dragons?

well I checked the bar out.......the hunter is hopeless for clues.......went down to Nowhere.....did not find any info there.....was told if I go round to the south of Nowhere then go in the straight line south I would eventually get there.......nope.......it's even further........headed out to Vanderfort Bridge and headed south and west into the mountains after crossing the bridge.....spent 2 hours having a good look around.......still came up with nothing........so until some manages to get fairly good directions........this is going to be a hard quest  |

Unless this is different from the dragons one of the old men in Nowhere points you to, this is not a quest.

boot.darkmud.co.uk/sur4.gifsee on the map where the smarl river just starts touching the very southernmost mountains. head west into the mountains there and just stroll around

no you need to get to 5 in cr.hus and to 10 in cr.hus.an i think
or maybe its 10 in the first one and 15 in the second one, can't remember

Where do you find them?

I found the mushrooms in the mountains just westish of nowhere. They're all over and appear in the room description. Just 'gather' them. Cannot locate the dragons themselves though.

OK, I got my cr.hus.an.gr to level 20. Bought a brush then went and found a dragon, and did the following:
groom dragon with brush
admire dragon
worship dragon
Gather the small brown mushrooms and feed them these. The dragon will soon hop on your shoulder and be yours until you stop feeding it the mushrooms, or the Disc crashes again!

ask <dragon> to remember here [as home]
ask <dragon> to stay
ask <dragon> to follow
ask <dragon> to go home
ask <dragon> to {ride|perch}

I haven't fed my dragon since i got it and ive still got it.
also, of all the things you mentioned above, "groom dragon with brush" is the most important one for getting it to like you
