Sasswot, Thanks for the info. That is the message that I translated too and you are correct it is not right I have translated it 5 times now and get the same result (this includes starting from scratch), at least this shows that I am getting the pig latin right and am on the right track. Please tell me if you come up with anything else that may help.

This looks like the one I got. Darned if I can remember it though! The solvers I use aren't shedding much light, but this may help.
Start with PJN ABCHZEDPNE AD UDHHDCD EBVCUM PJN PDHNEA (this is it without the pig-latin). The pig-latin helps in the beginning, showing that O=Y, M=A, and D is a vowel. I believe P=T, J=H, and N=E, though I may be wrong.
Don't forget to add the pig-latin back on once you've finished:
xxxYAY xxxxxxxxxxYAY xxAY xxxxxxxYAY xxxxxxAY xxxYAY xxxxxxYAY
With the clues I've given, this is how it translates so far:
THEYAY xxxxxxxTExYAY xxAY xxxxxxxYAY xxxxxAAY THEYAY TxxExxYAY

The first word cannot be "THEYAY", as "YAY" is only used on words that start with a vowel. Hence it is probably a word like "OUR" as it starts with a vowel.
Still idly working on this one.

PJN ABCHZEDPNE DA UDHHDCD MEBVCU PJN PDHNEA
that is with the pig latin removed and all letters in the correct order.
O = Y M = A

Ack, you're right. Got my PL mixed up.
Your order is showing more results, though I haven't got anything conclusive. I've tried common three letter words, common double letters, replacing each of the known vowels with a different vowel in turn ... It's a tricky one ...

I've been working on this for ages, and don't understand it at all, really. I translated my clacks as being:
yuvroyrgog mhuog hkovqiorquvuog aqrdgog helehevyegog rugog rdegog jmovwhggog
YUVROYRGOG MHUOG HKOVQIORQUVUOG AQRDGOG HELEHEVYEGOG RUGOG RDEGOG JMOVWHGGOG, which, when the Pig Latin is removed, should read:
RYUVROY UMH UHKOVQIORQUV DAQR EHELEHEVY UR ERD GJMOVWH
I have no idea what to do from here. Please can somebody help me?

with the pig latin remove the message should be:
YUVROYR UMH UHKOVQIORQUV AQRD HELEHEVYE RU RDE JMOVWHG
since you don't rearrange words that end in YAY.
the best match I got using a cipher solver thingy is:
Contact our organization with reference to the quandry
Since the game uses british spelling it should probably be organisation though. With normal pig latin the message should be
ontactcay ouryay organisationyay ithway eferenceray otay hetay uandryqay
But, based on problems some other people have had I don't think they're using normal pig latin rules so maybe try:
contactyay uroay rganisationoay withyay referenceyay toyay theyay quandryyay

This quest has been changed. You no longer get the message in pig latin, it's normal substitution. The program mentioned above helped me solve it.
The same is for giving the answer to the gentleman - you give it as it is, solved but not changed into pig latin. And still in capital letters.
Cheers.

I fed everything into Microsoft Excel. Assuming that the code book is the same.. I replaced the * with a 1, the # with a 2, and the @ with a 3 and got this list: A @#**#@**# 321123112 B *@@*#***@ 133121113 C ##@#*@#*# 223213212 D ##@#*#@*@ 223212313 E @@*@@**#* 331331121 F @@**@@#@* 331133231 G *@#*#*#@# 132121232 H #*@#*@@#@ 213213323 I @###@@*#* 322233121 J *@@@#*@#@ 133321323 K ****@#@*# 111132312 L #@@@@##** 233332211 M ##*@@**@# 221331132 N #*#@***@@ 212311133 O *@*#*@@** 131213311 P ##@##*@*@ 223221313 Q ###@@@@** 222333311 R @*@@**@#@ 313311323 S @**@##*## 311322122 T @@*#*@#@* 331213231 U ###@@*##@ 222331223 V @##*##*@# 322122132 W @#@**@@## 323113322 X @##*@#@@# 322132332 Y ##*#@#*#@ 221232123 Z #@**@##@* 231132231 Of course, that doesn't bring me anywhere close to solving my jumble of letters. Ahh, in the second column, that's the three rows concatenated together. And, I checked for dupes, the list is unique.

It was pretty easy once you had worked out what letter was what and then fed it into a code breaker on the net

Wow, I feel really stupid, but this is my first shot at this quest. Um.. how do I lookup the codes in the book? All my different combinations turn up to say that there is no matching symbol for that letter. How do I enter the code in to make it work so I can get the letters?
